Originally from Arkansas, Nicole has long been a passionate study of music and dance. She grew up taking an array of dance classes, most prominently Hip Hop. In High School, she spent part of her time living in Los Angeles, writing and recording her own music. Nicole moved to California in 2009 to attend the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) as a visual communications major, causing her to jump between San Francisco, Los Angeles, and eventually settling in North County San Diego. After graduation, she worked as a visuals display assistant at Anthropologie in Carlsbad, San Diego. Nicole has spent the past few years taking care of little ones as a nanny and traveling the globe with her family and boyfriend. She hand picks and sources unique items from around the world, which she is compiling for a home décor project and shop she has in the works. In her down time, Nicole loves designing and building her own furniture, flea market and vintage hunting, attending music festivals and shows, reading at the beach, cooking, and fitness. Her passion for leading a diverse and active life has brought her to this most recent endeavor, joining the Studio Barre Carmel Valley team as an instructor. She has been a client of Studio Barre for years and thinks that it gives clients the perfect combination of being both slender and toned. Nicole is so excited to start this next chapter as a Studio Barre instructor and is beyond happy to share this new adventure of living a healthy lifestyle.
